Joi Marchetti
From composition to vocal performance, Joi Marchetti is committed to enhancing stories and creating emotion through the power of music. She has composed works for The Park Avenue Armory, The New Ohio Theatre, and The Drama League in New York City, along with multiple films including Nicole Kang’s, Lonely Child, recently making its world premier at the Tide Film Festival in NYC. Her original music was performed as a part of the Up Close Festival, recommended as must-see immersive theatre by The New York Times and TimeOut New York.
Joi was a singer for Cirque Du Soleil’s Quidam, where her passion for storytelling blossomed. She has been a studio vocalist and session contractor for Sony Playstation and Formosa Entertainment. Additional session vocal work includes META, Valve's Portal: Aperture Desk Job, Starface, and IMP Digital Studios. She is associated with San Francisco Conservatory of Music's Technology and Applied Composition program where she has received both commission and grant opportunities.
