Meet Magari

Magari Ensemble, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, integrates talented musicians and artists with local communities through interdisciplinary and multimedia events - reimagining classical music experiences and challenging traditional concert norms.

We believe that by seeking out creative and visionary artists from across the country to foster artistry in one space, we can alter what an experience with classical music means for our audiences. By connecting with audiences in Boston, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and beyond, our national platform reaches diverse communities and expands access to our collaborative space. Our artists and musicians take artistic risks to create new and exciting experiences that inspire concertgoers to stream classical music, pick up an instrument or paintbrush, and create something new themselves.

  • Collaboration

We foster harmonious collaboration within our ensemble, with our guest artists, and with the community of Boston.

  • Innovation

We welcome new experiences, imaginative methods, and creative risks.

  • Learning

We challenge our audiences of all ages to imagine with us what classical music performances can be. In the process, we also encourage our collaborators to examine and develop their purpose as artists.

  • Diversity

We embrace diversity and its rich benefits within our ensemble including musicians, collaborators, and repertoire selection to make classical music an accessible and inclusive space for all.

  • Quality

We bring our events to life with passion and diligence to offer our audiences an inspiring space where music making is so much more than technique.
