Liam Cameron

Liam Cameron is an accomplished clarinetist whose performances span North America, Europe, and Asia. Based in San Francisco, Cameron has established himself as both a versatile orchestral musician and a disciplined, passionate creative.

Cameron has previously served as Principal Clarinet of Bangkok World Orchestra and Third Clarinet in Seattle Wind Symphony. He has additionally performed with the San Francisco Symphony, San Francisco Ballet Orchestra, Seattle Wind Symphony, Spokane Symphony, and Mid-Columbia Symphony. His international work includes premieres of Thai compositions at the Amnesty International Thailand Conference and outreach performances in partnership with the Francois Xavier Bagnoud Association for children affected by HIV/AIDS in Chon Buri, Thailand. His repertoire ranges from symphonic masterworks and traditional ballet to newly commissioned works for clarinet.

As a composer, Liam Cameron has written over 50 pieces of music, from concerti, to chamber music, to sonatas. At CWU New Music Festival, his music was described as “simple but not plain... forward-looking but sentimental.” Outside of music, he is a published poet. His 5 poem collection Lies I Believed was published in the 2025 Trestle Creek Review. His new literary work Re is set to be released at the end of 2025.
