Magari Ensemble is thrilled to present two dynamic works this weekend:

  • Deathcycle of Ancient Aliens by Rogan Tinsley | the world premiere of a bold, five-part concerto for clarinet and chamber orchestra inspired by indigenous Borneo artist T. Bagak’s striking illustration of the Alien lifecycle.

  • Leilehua Lanzilotti’s with eyes the color of time | Pulitzer Prize Finalist piece inspired by vibrant art at The Contemporary Museum in Honolulu, blending experimental strings with evocative lyricism.

The commission of Rogan Tinsley is supported by a grant from San Francisco Conservatory.

This concert has been curated with so much love and we cannot wait to share it with you all. We can’t wait to see you there.
