Magari Ensemble is thrilled to present our new commissioning initiative led by Natalie Boberg and Caroline Jesalva: Subject to Change

Join us Boston as we present our initiatives’ first series of concerts around the US!

This new initiative encompasses Magari’s mission to promote interdisciplinary collaboration and new music in the classical music space. Subject to Change is commissioning, performing, recording, and publishing new works by women and gender minorities for two violins, createing accessible educational resources that emphasize collaboration and belonging for audiences of all ages.

Natalie and Caroline will be premiering a new work by the incredible Olivia Wilkins-Becker, intertwined with three existing violin duos by Saariaho, Montgomery, and Clyne, and a new story by writer Frances Norton.
